Sourcing and quality
Where your peptide comes from, and how it gets to you.
The peptide market is full of vials with no prescription, no pharmacy, and no way to know what is inside. Here is exactly how a Vael order is different.
From screening to your refrigerator
Prescribed, not just sold
A licensed physician reviews your health screening before anything is made. That review is the first quality control: whether a peptide is appropriate for you at all.
Compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy
Your prescription is filled by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy in the United States, which prepares each vial to the prescription rather than pulling from a bulk shelf.
Shipped ready to use
Vials arrive fully reconstituted. There is no powder, no mixing, and no chance of getting the dilution wrong at home.
Cold-chain to your door
Refrigerated products ship in insulated cold-chain packaging to all 50 states. Once it arrives, you keep it refrigerated at 36-46°F and never freeze it.
What a 503A pharmacy is
A 503A compounding pharmacy is licensed by its state board of pharmacy to prepare medications for individual patients under a prescription. It is the same category of pharmacy that compounds hormone therapy, pediatric doses, and allergy-free versions of approved drugs. It is not the same as a drug manufacturer, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed.
That is the honest trade-off with any compounded peptide, and it is why Vael requires a physician on every order and every renewal rather than treating the prescription as a formality.
What you can check yourself
- The pharmacy label on your vial names the pharmacy, your name, the drug and strength, and a beyond-use date. Discard the vial by that date.
- Your prescription and the physician who wrote it are visible in your Vael account.
- Storage is simple: refrigerated at 36-46°F, upright, out of direct light. If a vial arrives warm or the cold pack has fully thawed, contact support@vaelrx.com before using it.
