General safety
Warnings
- Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA has not evaluated Vael peptides for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality.
- Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Do not use if you are under 18.
- Tell the physician about every medication, supplement, and condition in your screening, including any personal history of cancer, autoimmune disease, kidney or liver disease, or an upcoming surgery.
- Do not use a peptide if you have had an allergic reaction to it or to any ingredient listed on the pharmacy label.
- Stop use and seek emergency care for signs of a serious allergic reaction: hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, or dizziness.
Common side effects
- Redness, soreness, a small bump, or bruising at the injection site
- Mild flushing or warmth after injection (most often with NAD+)
- Mild headache, lightheadedness, or fatigue in the first days
- Temporary nausea or muscle cramping (NAD+)
Most side effects are mild and settle on their own. Anything that persists beyond a few days, or any rash or hives, is a reason to contact the care team at support@vaelrx.com.
GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)
How it is prescribed
- Route: subcutaneous injection
- Strength: 10 mg/mL, 5 mL vial
- Typical schedule: Once daily, Mon–Fri
- Supply: 1-month supply per vial

Precautions
- Do not take copper supplements while using GHK-Cu.
- Do not apply vitamin C serums or take vitamin C supplements within 2 hours of your injection.
- Mild redness or bruising at the site is expected. A rash, localized hives, or irritation that does not settle within a few days is a reason to contact the care team.

NAD+ (Cellular Energy Coenzyme)
How it is prescribed
- Route: subcutaneous injection
- Strength: 100 mg/mL, 10 mL vial
- Typical schedule: Once daily, Mon–Fri
- Supply: 1-month supply per vial

Precautions
- Mild flushing or warmth after injection is common and usually passes within minutes. Inject slowly.
- If you experience nausea or muscle cramping, the printed instructions direct you to reduce your next dose by half.
- Flushing that is severe or lasts beyond 30 minutes, chest tightness, or trouble breathing is an emergency.
- Drink plenty of water daily.

Glutathione (Master Antioxidant)
How it is prescribed
- Route: subcutaneous injection
- Strength: 200 mg/mL, 10 mL vial
- Typical schedule: Twice weekly, 2 times per week
- Supply: 1-month supply per vial

Precautions
- Rotate injection sites; the 0.5 mL volume can leave a small, tender bump.
- Space the two weekly injections at least 2 to 3 days apart.
- Drink plenty of water on injection days.

Injection-site reactions
A small red or pink patch, mild tenderness, or a bruise at the site is normal and fades within a day or two. Rotating sites (abdomen, front of thigh, back of the upper arm) keeps this to a minimum.
Contact the care team if a site is increasingly warm, swollen, or painful, if there is pus, or if you develop a fever. Those can be signs of infection and need a clinician the same day. The home injection guide has a side-by-side table of normal versus contact-a-clinician reactions.
Storage and disposal
Vael ships every peptide fully reconstituted and ready to use. Store refrigerated 36-46°F. Do not freeze. Keep vials upright and out of direct light, and discard by the beyond-use date on the pharmacy label. Used syringes go in a rigid, lidded container, never loose in household trash.
When to get help
- Call 911 or go to an emergency room for swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, rapid heartbeat, or fainting.
- Contact support@vaelrx.com for a rash, hives, injection-site irritation that lasts more than a few days, or side effects that concern you. The care team will route clinical questions appropriately.
- Tell any clinician who treats you that you are using a compounded peptide, and which one.
